Model 21CN NMR Gaussmeter – version 2.1

Description

The model 21CN NMR (Nuclear Magnetic Resonance) Gaussmeter is designed for operation with any research or service application where high precision measurements of stable magnetic fields are required. The NMR operates on a principle of the swept-frequency measurement and differs considerably from conventional automatic NMR instrumentation utilizing an external modulation of magnetic field to be measured. Due to this new technique, the model NMR family of instruments are the fastest and most flexible gaussmeters / teslameters available today.

The model 21CN NMR , due to the precision and repeatability of field measurements, may be used as a traceable standard for testing other instruments. It combines accuracy of measurement with simplicity of use and allows automatic tracking and locking of the magnetic field.

Measurement applications include: MRI system field mapping and shimming, magnetic field stabilisers, support instrumentation for EPR and NMR spectrometers, particle accelerator beam handling, research on field-dependent material characteristics, as well as the checking of magnets and electromagnets.
